Md. Yousufuddin’s football coaching career spans 17 years

During this period, he was the Under-19 Telangana Football team coach that participated in 65th National School Games 2019 held at Andaman & Nicobar. He was also the Under-21 INDIAN 7 Aside Football team coach that participated in the international tournament held in NEPAL 2020. He hails from a small village in the Mulugu district, Telangana.

When did you decide to become a Professional football player? What was the moment that made you decide that?

I have always had a keen interest in football and athletics. I started playing football and athletics at the age of nine. Even though I had no proper guidance, support and facilities, I won first/ second prize in 100 meters,200 meters and long jump in athletics. I used to love watching sports on TV and was inspired to become a sportsperson thereon.

What are your core values as a Football Coach?

I wish to train young aspirants who have a keen interest in learning and becoming the best professional footballers. Right from my childhood, I have had this burning desire in my mind to become a good football player and an excellent coach. So my aim is to become a successful and famous football coach.

How does football help in the skill and personality development of an individual? For Football players, physical strength and technique is not sufficient. One should have mental strength and self-confidence to perform his best in any given circumstan. This is something that I have learnt out of the experience, and coaches need to develop it as a skill.
