BRICS Industry Innovation Competition for the year 2021 is inviting applications from Indian startups. The strategic partners for the competition are IFIA, ABIPIR, Sparkinov and My Startup TV

The competition invites projects from BRICS countries.

Government agencies, enterprises, startups, vocational schools, universities, teachers and students are eligible to apply for the same.
The projects can consist of innovative products, applications, ideas, standards, initiatives, solutions, or projects focusing on the next
generation of communication technology, industrial Internet, intelligent manufacturing, green recycling, and low-carbon fields.

The award ceremony will be held at the third BRICS Partnership for New Industrial Revolution Forum in the month of September, depending on the pandemic situation. The last date to fill the application form was 13th August. While speaking to My Startup TV, Dr. Marcelo Vivacqua, Director of IFIA said, “this competition is the biggest one in the world with respect to the BRICS countries. The idea is to connect the countries which are participating and present their idea and innovation. This competition will create enormous possibilities and connections between the startup ecosystem, investors and government.”
