SkillEdge provides skill training to students and prepares them for new-age careers. It bridges the gap between the students and corporates and trains them to become successful employees.
What does SkillEdge do ?
It applies its unique training module to identify, trains and assists students in finding suitable employment. First, the startup identifies demand in an industry for a particular job title. Then, it explores career options in three verticals—technology, core engineering for mechanical and engineering students, and business management.
The job titles and skills required are identified in collaboration with Human Resource managers. The skills are mapped
to the academic syllabus, and only a specific gap in skill is covered in three phases. First, the candidates undergo a test that includes exercises and Industry live projects. The second stage is to make students practice their skills. The third stage is a three-tier mentoring mechanism where professionals mentor students based on the job title.
Benefits to Students
Students can apply for the scholarship before taking up a course. "Any college student can take this course and upskill their knowledge and get a job in their dream company."
