US-based electric vehicle manufacturer Triton EV launches its First Car in India, and this SUV with an 8-seater capacity does over 1000Kms with a single 2-Hour charging. It is also one of the longest ranges provided by EV in the World. The SUV will also come with a towing capacity of 7 tonnes. Its physical dimensions are overwhelming, given this is the first EV car in India. In the US, where the car was launched last March, Model H costs $1,40,000 (approx. ₹1.05 crore).

Himanshu B Patel, Founder and Managing Director of Triton EV, said, “India is a very important market and activity centre for Triton EV.” Speaking to the media, he stated, “We are excited with the unleashing of Model H and the first-hand feedback from automotive experts
have been very encouraging, who got a chance to look and feel the Model H here.”

The company has officially announced the “launch of a complete ‘Make in India’ Electric Vehicle from Zahirabad, Telangana factory. This
manufacturing facility is the biggest one in the world, just after the United States”.
